Why Attendance Matters

• 95% attendance = 10 days (50 lessons) missed each year
• 90% attendance = almost 4 weeks of learning lost
• 85% attendance = half a term missed every year
• Our school target is 94%

Why Punctuality Matters

• Lessons start at 8:50am/9am – vital learning happens straight away
• Being late disrupts learning and confidence
• 10 minutes late every day = 6 full days lost each year

Term-Time Absence Policy

• Holidays will not be authorised unless in exceptional circumstances
• Request form available on the school website
• Unauthorised absence may result in a Fixed Penalty Notice
