Aims and Objectives

Clwb Llewellyn is an after school club that aims to offer care to the children attending Ysgol Porth y Felin school. The club provides a safe and fun environment for the children to engage in activities, homework and free play. 

Clwb Llewellyn operates as an extension on Ysgol Feithrin Conwy, utilising many of the same policies and procedures, but also has additional policies to support the operation of the club.  

Children for whom care is provided

Clwb Llewellyn provides care for children aged 3 - 11 who attend Ysgol Porth y Felin school and Ysgol Feithrin Conwy setting.

Monday to Friday Term Time Only

Afterschool Session: 3pm - 5.45pm

Activities Offered

Clwb Llewellyn offers a variety of activities, taking advantage of the school’s indoor and outdoor spaces, weather dependent. Creative activities are enjoyed such as paper craft, colouring, food play and decoration. Utilising the hall and play area to the front of the school, gives the children an opportunity for physical activity. There is also space for the children to complete any homework they have. Other structured play is organised allowing the children to choose to participate in such as board games and games. Electronics are also utilised to encourage computer skills. 

Other services offered

Snacks are provided to the children, being mindful of food safety and hygiene. Water and milk is also available for the children.

Fees

The price for the afterschool fees are set at £13.50 per session per child for the complete time of 3pm - 5.45pm regardless of age or early pick up.
